Sandwich Bay Battery is a former anti-aircraft gun emplacement located on the coast of Kent, England. It was built in 1940 to protect the nearby port of Dover and the surrounding area from German air raids during World War II. The battery consists of four emplacements, each housing a 4.5-inch gun, and is surrounded by a network of tunnels and bunkers. Today, the site is abandoned and largely overgrown with vegetation, but it remains a fascinating relic of wartime history.
