This picturesque beach boasts soft, golden sand and crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. The beach is surrounded by limestone cliffs and offers stunning views of the Bristol Channel. At low tide, the beach reveals a vast expanse of sand, while at high tide, the water laps against the cliff edges. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months, making it a safe and enjoyable destination for families. Amenities include a promenade with cafes, restaurants, and shops, as well as a car park and toilet facilities.
Fantastic views of the infamous lighthouse seen on the TV during heavy rainfall. The beach is clean and flags clearly marked out where people are allowed to swim
Visited in summer. Never seen so much rubbish on a beach and near by car parks. Sad that the beach is treated so badly. Its a shame been here before and it was pretty clean.
The most perfect of Sandy beaches with the arcades and attractions behind you. Great selection of foods. There was a Sausage bar where we picked up brunch and sat on the beachfront to eat. You can still find donkeys here as a long time tradition.
A beach that is quite nice to stay at for a long duration. It is surrounded by many entertainment facilities and amenities. It's only let down is the condition that the water is in and the cold temperature that is attributed to the area. As seen in the photos below, the beach has regular firework shows (every Tuesday) which brings it a sense of community.
Nice calm beach The water is usually freezing cold and not as clear as West Wales but it's closer to Cardiff so will have to do :D
Nice clean beach, dogs welcome only out of season Fairground but has got pricey since lockdown :-( (wristbands) Fish n chips and nice icecream close by
