Lovely, tall waterfall. We parked on the side of the road (6ish spaces by the waterfall and a few more just past the waterfall) and took the 5-minute walk down. It's steep down, not too muddy. We went the day after it rained, and it was slippy in places, but still a decent walk, we were wearing vans shoes. You can walk halfway down and along to stand at the bottom of the main waterfall, or you can walk all the way down and stand at the 2nd part of the waterfall where you can see the whole waterfall area. You can continue to walk down the stream from here, too. You can also stand at the top of the waterfall. Abount a minute walk along the wall separating you from the road, and you can see the stream come through under the bridge, and on to the top of the waterfall before it falls.
Can be a tricky walk down to thr waterfall, not good for people with mobility mossies or pushchairs. Once there, nice place, webstayed for about 40 mins, the kids and teenagers enjoyed scrambling around the rocks.
We walked up the hill from Settle to see this. It was definitely worth it. Absolutely beautiful. If you want the best view though make sure you have proper footwear and are sure footed as it is quite precarious to climb down to the bottom and can be slippery.
