A family visit to Science Museum was an excellent experience whole family thoroughly enjoyed. It is a major museum dedicated to the development of science, technology, and industry. Located on the site of the world's first passenger railway station, it showcases Manchester's rich industrial heritage and its role in the Industrial Revolution. The museum features a wide range of exhibits, including steam engines, early computers, and a working replica of a cotton mill. It also has interactive displays, hands-on activities, and regular special exhibitions that explore scientific and technological advancements. The museum is part of the Science Museum Group and is free to enter.

One of the best museums I have ever visited. Not too crowded and big to make you tired and overwhelmed, not too small to be boring. Perfect for 2-3hour visit. We had lot of fun reading about and seeing the textile machines and also the top floor with different games was really cute and fun. We also paid extra to be admitted to the gaming area where they have a selection of all the consoles and legendary games throughout years and spent an hour playing there! Would totally recommend!

Amazing place. Perfect little activity and it's free! Went with my partner and enjoyed every moment of it. The interactive games felt really enjoyable and educational! Learning about the industry was really fun and interesting. Everyone in there was really friendly and helpful and the food in the cafe is really nice. 10/10

Attended the Museum for the Operation Ouch exhibition. Such a lovely clean museum with lots to do. The actual museum was free to attend and we paid extra to attend the special exhibition. Kids absolutely loved it. There was lots to do. It wasn't too busy which was a bonus! Great day out enjoyed by all the family. We were there for hours

I recently visited the Science and Industry Museum and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, several parts of the museum were closed off, which meant I was able to see far less than I had hoped. This led to a somewhat disappointing visit. However, I was pleased to see the Manchester Baby compiler, a highlight for anyone interested in computing history. While my overall experience was dampened by the closures, the exhibits that were available were informative and engaging. I hope to return in the future when more sections of the museum are open to fully appreciate all it has to offer.
