Very well kept site. Very good facilities and kept clean. We enjoyed the heritage tour, and saw parakeets, nuthatch, woodpecker, and dear. And a very Tame fox that had the scent of some jaffa cakes left in a tent. Excellent wood supplie but this may differ when the site is busier as we were the only group camping on this side of the site.
Great Historical Park, My Dad came all the way from Pakistan to visit this Scout's historical park. Amazing staff, well maintained and well equiped. Great location for kids and adults day out.
Good campsite, plenty of space and fantastic modern camping buildings. Only downside was the substandard catering. But it is possible to bring your own. Worth a visit if you are into scouting.
Great venue if you're involved in Scouting, Guiding or other youth organisation. Campsite facilities are good. Handy location for London (underground station a bit of a walk). Just a pity that some of the emphasis for the main buildings (White house etc.) is more towards money generating corporate events, weddings etc.
Great atmosphere and energy onsite.
