A picturesque seaside resort with a long stretch of sandy beach, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. The promenade offers a range of amenities, including cafes, restaurants, and amusement arcades, as well as a Ferris wheel and other fairground rides. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll along the seafront, enjoy the fresh sea air, and take in the views of the North Sea.
My friend lives on the foreshore in North Ferriby. The Humber was calm and there is a delightful sunset. See photo below
If you want to see the Humber and/ or have a short walk along it this is the place. The walk is uneven and muddy but some great views of the bridge, the river and the south bank. Parking is limited but free, there is nothing to spend money on at all. If you like commercialised places it's probably not for you.
Great view of the Humber bridge
Our favourite lunch spot when out and about ever changing views and quiet spot and if the tide is out a great ramble over yhe shingle
A place to go to admire the view. The Humber Bridge looks lovely from here
Came here to walk the Yorkshire Wolds Way, but it was impassable via the beech. Disappointing.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Good for kids
