Seething Observatory is run by the Norwich Astronomical Society and regularly holds outreach events to educate the public in all aspects of astronomy
Lovely view but unfortunately I didn't 'Observe a Tory' as expected, absolutely seething.
Excellent venue, helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend.
We went to an excellent public talk on the gas planets and their moons. It was well presented, and pitched about right for the wide audience. After, we looked through the observatory telescopes to see Saturn and it's rings, and also saw Andromeda through another telescope. The members of the society were kind and knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions etc. A great night out!
I've been for 2 talks now with my partner and our friends, the staff have always been open and inviting. Managed to see arms of the Milky Way, clusters, shooting starts and cosmic dust! Everyone is helpful, happy to explain everything and to answer any questions we had. Decided to join with a membership and hope to learn more.
Very friendly staff, well trained and very professional. Perfect for the whole family
Really enjoyed our trip to the Observatory. Fantastic facility with such engaging people, who were very happy to share their knowledge and child friendly with a cafe. Look forward to returning.
