Well worth a visit. Lots of beautiful plants. A great coffee stand serving teas coffee and some cakes, although we didn't try them they looked good! There was live music on when we were there which was great and added to a lovely afternoon. There are books around to borrow so you can sit and read. Lovely place.
Visited here last weekend with my husband while on a walk around Sefton Park. It was lovely to see that they now have a lovely little cafe with seating inside and out, which we will definitely try on our next visit. Would love to come here for one of the candlelight concerts as previously mentioned in a post.
Sefton Park Palm House is an Iconic Victorian Glass House that houses around 200 plants that are extremely rare and unique. The plant collection is obtained from 5 continents. You are mesmerized with so many different varieties of plants under one roof. We visited on 2nd June 2024 for an event. It was our first visit and we were really impressed with such botanical collection. Outside the Palm House there were Statues of renowned people like Christopher Columbus, Charles Darwin etc...
Beautiful Building and the Palm House Gardens are well kept and just lovely. It is free to enter but you can do a little donation which is so much appreciated and all goes back in to the Palm House too
