This 150-acre park features a scenic lake, walking trails, and a variety of wildlife, including birds, fish, and insects. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, birdwatching, and outdoor activities like cycling and horse riding. The park's terrain is varied, with woodland, grassland, and wetland areas, and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Used to be a mini golf course and there are still reminders of how it was. Its a pleasant place to come to and you can gear wildlife as you walk round. I've got a young puppy and he loves it too.
A nice little park that could benefit from secure gates leading off from the carpark; preventing children and pets from escaping onto busy roads. The actual play park was a hit with my 12 and 10 year olds. I just couldn't let my dog off the lead.
Lovely clean park. Nice little cafe for a drink and snacks. Free parking. Good to let kids have a play and run around for half hr.
Just moved to Selston and we have this park on our door step. Great for walking your dog. So clean and friendly people and dogs
Extremely disappointing. As a wheelchair user there is limited area to go other than the children's play area or the cafe which closes at 2pm on a weekend. It's really a glorified dog walking park.
First visit to this country park. Not a large park, but very good. There are a number of footpaths. The park is well looked after at the moment, will this last? As it is looked after by Ashfield District Council we will have to wait and see. The trees are wonderful. Plenty of seats on the upper level. The cafe is excellent with good food and wonderful, friendly staff. Pity it closes at 2pm. Well worth a visit.
