Visitors can explore the park's many attractions, including a visitor centre, a cafe, and a play area for children. The park also hosts a range of events and activities throughout the year, from guided walks and nature talks to outdoor concerts and festivals.
Lovely place for a walk. Not very busy the times I've been. There's afew different ways to walk and benches if you want to sit down. There's also a nice little drinks hut and toilets. I even saw a heron!
Nice small venue, enough for about an hour walking. Joggers, cycling and dog walkers enjoying it and it's 8 degrees in January. Best part is Sally's Little Bluebird mobile cafe! Friendly, great choice and good prices too, recommended The small lakes have lots of bird life. Will return in the Sumner..
Really enjoyed our walk here today, plenty of parking, toilets and snack van at top car park nothing at lower. Plenty of well marked walking trails, you could easily traverse with a pushchair. Plenty of benches, a few of which are covered, which came in handy for us two oldies! Well signposted for areas accessible to bikes and horses. The perfect destination for a nice dog walk, we clicked up nearly five miles, but did go back over some ground.
If you're after a peaceful walk this is the place. It's a very large park with wonderful views. In summer it is worth taking a picnic as you can easily spend a whole day there. The car park cost at the minute is very reasonable
Ok but not a favorite. Very loose stone pathways I found quite slippery especially going downhill. I'm sure you could get used to it if you exercise there regularly. Large car park which costs PS 1.95p for all day parking. Toilets there but close by 4 pm. A mobile coffee shop was on site Sunday. Picnic benches on site.
For Adults/Locals it may be a good place to Jog, chill and take a stroll. We came all the way from Leicester. Its not worth the travel. There is no play area for kids. No clean and managed area to sit. Its just a Bushy walk, trails are also full of trees and bushes giving you a feeling of "where the hell am I". The lake is very far from the main entrance and you can only like it if you drop directly there from a planet with no water. Being from England, we have water everywhere, we need nice looking ponds, lakes, beaches, greenery to sooth our eyes. 2 out of 10.
