About
The Seringal Museum is a unique cultural attraction located in the heart of the British countryside. This museum showcases an extensive collection of vintage cars, motorcycles, and memorabilia, with over 100 exhibits on display. The museum's centerpiece is a recreated 1950s-style garage, complete with a vintage petrol pump and nostalgic advertisements. Visitors can explore the exhibits, learn about the history of transportation, and even take a ride in a vintage vehicle. The museum also features a cafe and gift shop, offering a range of motoring-themed items.

You can get here by boat from Marina Dawid, paying 21R$ per person for 1 way (cash or brazilian pix payment). Boats run from 8am to 2pm. Depending on the season and river level - boats will come either to the museum itself or drop you off on the beach and a 5-10 minute walk awaits you. On the day of my visit (November 2022) the tour was free OR I was not charged due to the lack of an English speaking guide. Normally, it is 10R $ for 1 person. I had to sign on the guest list, along with information about my age and place of residence. The buildings are not original, as they are a remnant of the set design of the film shot here, but most of the equipment is actually from the 'rubber boom' period. Walk on the whole, without a guide, about 40-50 minutes. No bar on site but there is a toilet and free water from a large reservoir. Before we left the museum and headed towards the mooring point, the museum employee use a walkie-talkie and made sure that the return boat was already there.
Super intersti g museum with fantastic guide. Its outdoors, its real. If you speak English ask for Gabriel. He is really great. He covers not just rubber, but also jungle flowers, fruits and history.
Worth the visit. It was the set for a period movie that centered around a rubber baron and how the rubber made it from the trees to the market. What a brilliant idea to turn it into a museum. You will see rubber oozing out of the trees and play with it in your hand as well as smoking the rubber. Very cool place and nice boat ride to get there.
Definitely must be seen place! A lot of history in the houses of the workers and rich people of the rubber era! Pleasant boat trip and amazing nature out there waiting for you!
Very interesting. Showed the dark side of the rubber industry
Very disappointed with the guide service. Actually they didn't provide that much information due to other people in the group had a lack of interest. Since I studied this subject for me it was the highlight on my travels in Manaus. Unfortunately the experience was not the best. We didn't do the entire trail due to other people in the group was wearing sandals or inappropriate shoes. They inform in the website that is required closed shoes but mostly of the visitors they don't read and just spoil others visitors interest. They shouldn't let them to do the whole visit and take the ones wants...
