We came to one of the pond dipping events. Beautiful place
Nice country park with a river. Great for dogs as there are shallow parts with easy access to the water. Would be ok for children too. A few picnic/seating benches dotted around. No toilets or cafe though and it is NOT fully wheelchair friendly. My Mum is on a mobility scooter and we had to get her off it and half lift the scooter to get it on a bridge as the other route was a complete no.
Good overall walk plenty off history.
Very nice parks quiet in the morning
Great place no matter what season. Our dog loves going on Seven Acres. Good parking. Bins dotted around for rubbish & dog poo bags
Another beautiful park teaming with lot of wild life. Ideal for dog-walking. There is also a calm shallow river flowing through this park so if you are out with your dog, it can cool it self down a bit in hot summer days. Be aware of Giant Hogweed growing alongside the river on many places.
