A picturesque coastal town on the Severn Estuary, Severn Beach offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Its sandy beach stretches for miles, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. The promenade is lined with cafes, restaurants, and amusement arcades, providing entertainment for all ages. As the tide goes out, the beach reveals a vast expanse of mudflats, home to a diverse range of birdlife, making it a haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
Good place if you're looking for a walk in the sunset. There is a fair length of paved path right on the edge of the water that you can follow. You can see both bridges from here as well as Wales just across. The water is dirty, I would not recommend going in it.
I visited Severn Beach in August, I feel so refreshed and relaxed walking around the beach. Highly recommend it! And I probably will come back to watch the sunset in Autumn:)
Not worth a visit. Signs indicate things that aren't there eg This is where a paddling pool USED to be. Which means there really isn't a lot to see. Funny old place. Good views of the bridge. Gentle walk between the bridges is nice
It's such a lovely place, came here with my friends and we had so much fun muddy but as along as you bring extra shoes it's not a big problem definitely recommend
A bit windy the other day . Had a nice time there.
Good coastal walk. You can walk (or cycle) from Severn Beach to the village of Aust and it's all on the level. Would do the trail again but on pushbike. Would've been nice to have benches all along the trail.
