This scenic promenade and riverbank area offers stunning views of the River Severn, the second-longest river in the UK. The picturesque walkway is lined with beautifully maintained gardens, seating areas, and picnic spots, perfect for relaxing and taking in the tranquil atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the riverbank, watching boats and ships sail by, or stop at one of the many cafes and restaurants to refuel. The promenade is also home to several public art installations, adding to the area's charm and character.
Nice place for am afternoon walk or cycle. Paths are flat. Walked from Seven Beach station to the old bridge. Great views of the two bridges and Welsh coast Few places to get coffee and cake.
Lovely area to relax listening to the wildlife and waves the bridge can be noisy but also something calming about it aswel. I didn't notice any toilets but that's not to say there isn't any. Very much a dog walking place so be prepared for that if bringing kids or sensitive people.
This has been the best walk I ever had by the sea side. It's not just amazing but the experience was mesmerizing, the photos speak of it all, can't wait to go back again.... Just love the place.
We discovered this place, whilst stopping off on a long journey. Great views of Severn Bridge and a nice walk along the promenade. There are also a couple of local bakeries and cafes, which are useful for a cuppa along with a sweet treat.
I love walking my son's dog here. Very relaxing
The calmness of the water masks the power of the tides in this estuary. Great place to blow the cobwebs away on a well paved path. I've been over the bridges many times but have never seen them from river level. Hoping to do the Avonmouth to Gloucester run in a narrowboat next year!
