Practically it is an island between Avon and Severn rivers. Big open space for walking, especially if you have a dog.

Beautiful walk. Leading down to a beautiful weir that is full off fish. Such clear water too, boats slowly trundling down this beautiful stretch of water. Sheep are all over the field, they are very friendly. Some won't come near to you either. You will need to keep dogs on the leash..

Really nice place to go for a walk, stick to the foot paths and it basically takes you in a circle following the river's Avon and Severn, just be aware that when it's wet or been wet the ground can be muddy/boggy. Beware there are sheep roaming free and ground bestie birds. Enjoy

Blissful meadow, flooded at times, sweet grass at others. A site of special scientific interest (SSI) where charming and vocal birds nest. Quiet waters and distant views of the ancient town and abbey.

Nice walk around the Ham, little bit boggy in places but that's to be expected at this time of year!
