Sgurr Finniosg-aig is a rugged and majestic mountain located in the Cuillin Hills on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Its distinctive shape, with steep slopes and a pointed summit, makes it a striking feature of the island's landscape. The mountain's name, which translates to "Finn's Peak" in Gaelic, is a nod to its dramatic and awe-inspiring presence.
Pretty cold up there (April). Took the gondola up which took about 25 minutes and then the walk up to Victoria view point was about 20 minutes. Dress appropriately- was pretty cold; with the wind chill, I'm guessing it was freezing or colder. Also where good hiking shoes, waterproof preferable.
Amazing views, well worth the walk. Wrap up as it can be cold and wear decent walking shoes!
The cable car, though pricey, is worth it as the views are wonderful over Loch Linnhe and The Great Glen. I am not very mobile and sometimes use a stick and found it just about manageable with help from family in the steeper parts. Go on a clear day to make the most of the views. The staff in the cafe and bar were friendly and helpful. The food could have been better...but it wasn't the food we went for.
Amazing. No words can describe the views from this very point. It is about a 20 to 45 min walk depending on how fast you go. It is rated one of the best viewpoints in Scotland and it is also very well known. Towering mountains collide with eachother forming exquisite scenery. 100 percent recommend this route when visiting the mountain gondola.
Visited two weeks ago, it was cold and windy so walking from the cable car is quite challenging. It was a great view to see in winter.
Easy access by a cable cart, 1 km easy walk and you can enjoy breath taking views on Ben Nevis and the valley below. All takes 2 hours. A must if you are in the area.
Good for kids
