A 12-acre public park featuring walking trails, a pond, and a variety of plant species, as well as a children's play area, tennis courts, and a bowling green.
A small but beautiful park for short walks. Filled with huge trees, almost like a small forest. The garden also has a large ground next to it.
Nice park with lovely old trees. Not the largest park, but it has a nice little pond, a playground for the little kids, a small selection of free-to-use outdoor exercise equipment and it makes for a nice place to have a little stroll in the evening. If I could change one thing, I would add a couple more dog poop bins.
Beautiful relaxing and interesting local park. I love the fact, that the trees have small labels on them telling you what they are. And the history of the family, who were in the timber business, & who planted these trees is fascinating. On my next visit, I hope to visit the lily garden adjacent to the entrance to the medical practice.
A nice, little park divided into two zones - one with trees and a pond, one with field and play/gym areas. There are many unusual and interesting trees, unfortunately not all are helpfully identified with signs (I used an app to identify them instead). It's heartwarming to see the pond lovingly restored (when I came here as a child, it was a dried-up concrete bowl!), with damselflies flitting around and beautiful water lilies. A good place to go for quiet contemplation.
Such an underrated park in the area! Beautiful and quiet
