This artificial reef is located off the coast of West Sussex, England, and is a popular spot for scuba diving and fishing. The reef is constructed from a combination of natural and artificial materials, including old tires, concrete blocks, and sunken ships. It provides a habitat for a diverse range of marine life, including fish, crustaceans, and other invertebrates. The reef's structure is designed to mimic natural reef systems, with ridges, valleys, and pinnacles creating a complex environment that supports a rich ecosystem.
What an awesome aquarium, I love that it's something indoors that isn't a ride but is just as fun and interesting. The staff at the touch pools are very informative, I was asking a lot of questions as I was very interested and found the staff were great. I love the photo entrance with the huge tentacles, and it fits in to the pirate theme very well
Great as a free aquarium inside the park. Nice to break up the day a bit between rides and queuing.

I've been to Alton Towers a lot but this is the first time I've been in Sharkbait Reef. It's a lot bigger than you think with a lot of great tanks and big fish. There is also a small interaction area where you can touch star fish. Definitely recommend visiting my children enjoyed it.
I was amazed with the variety of sea life here. It was a spectacular experience and was really mesmerising. Nice and peaceful. We got to touch starfish, shrimps and hermit crabs. The staff are really friendly. Amazing!
A great place to pop into when you need to slow the pace of your day down. It's essentially a slimmed down version of a sealife centre. You can see plenty of fish and we even got to feel a star fish. Great for all ages and the added bonus of this being included in your regular theme park ticket.
