A picturesque beach with soft golden sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and a scenic coastal path offering stunning views of the North Sea. The beach is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and rocky outcrops, adding to its natural beauty. It's a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports, with a range of amenities including cafes, restaurants, and beach huts.
What a find, looked on the map and had a bit of a road trip, never been here before but the water is shallow, warm and safe for families. Suggest you arrive earlyish as the car park is limited spaces. Mobile signal to pay via Just park is best near to the roadside, in the car park is a dead zone. Suggest you pay an hour and top up if you find a spot on beach. I'm with EE and easily got mobile signal from the beach to top up parking. Walk to the beach via a path which I recommend trainers and not flip flops or bare feet. Arrive around low tide for best experience as the beach is much bigger.
The view from the top is breathtaking. Unfortunately to go down to the beach is really steep. Not much to see when there. That's just me.
Absolutely stunning you do need to be young fit and healthy to get down to it unfortunately being disabled i could only watch my hubby and our dog achieve the trek but it was beautiful sitting on the bench enjoying the stunning view's
This was a beautiful beach, with a mix of sand and rocks. The rock pools were full of life. Lifeguards were patrolling the beach and ensuring everyone was safe. Signs explained when the tide was high and low, the number of lifeguards, sea temperature etc. There is quite a steep walk down, so it's not a place for people with limited mobility.
What an incredible spot! Parking above the beach; with a rather steep trek down to the beach but so worth it if you're able too!
What a beautiful beach it is! A little Cornish paradise and a good swimming spot. However, not easy to access for those with mobility issues - steep hill + steps and rocks.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
