Great for walking the dog! Has had a new play area added with various new equipment. Includes slides, seesaw, spinner and climbers. A few sturdy picnic benches were added in early 2023. A local fitness instructor has managed to get a proper pull up station installed and in late April a sturdy set of dip bars were added next to the pullup station. There is plastic matting to allow people to exercise with their own kit or perform calisthenics You will often see people exercising either alone or in small groups most week day early evenings. In mid May a tyre pump was fitted in the car park for cyclists and pram users who might need to pump up their tyres
Delightfully quaint! Such a charming place that if u seek an area off calm & serenity with the hustle + bustle off everyday lyf, then this will ease any woes & worries! It's a lovely park to walk your dog, yet it's not verry accessible with limited seating areas and bins to dispose off your rubbish in a sensible manner. For your information, you can request for a tree to be planted and cared for, within the green as long as it's natively British and I've done this feat 3 tyms with the ashes off 3 off my family, implanted into the roots off the trees! :D
Nice little park and play area including a zip line . Also great for walks around the adjoining fields.
Fab place to see birds and wildlife footpaths join to others and lovely circular walks can be worked out. dog friendly. Great to see useful wild areas left.
