This 17th-century mansion house is set amidst 68 acres of beautiful parkland, featuring a stunning lake, walking trails, and plenty of wildlife. The house itself boasts an impressive collection of art and antiques, including works by famous artists such as Gainsborough and Reynolds. Visitors can explore the opulent state rooms, including the grand saloon, dining room, and library, as well as the more intimate family rooms. The park also offers a playground, picnic areas, and a café serving refreshments.
Decent village park with skatepark area, nice equipment and space for ball games
Great bit of open space in the heart of the village. Has a court area, play facilities for all ages. Skate park for the adventurous ones and nice open field with a goal, my sons personal favourite. Even has toilet facilities too. Whats not to like
Really spacious, quiet park, seating and tables, play area, football goals, not all on top of each other. Its nice and safe near residential homes. Clean and tidy. Ideal for every day recreation
Grounds maintained beautifully with regular grass cuts and general maintenance. Good variety of play equipment across the age ranges. Tennis court could do with some attention to the surfacing. The Coronation shelter was recently lovingly restored and had a stunning new cedar shingle roof installed.
Lots of field area for dogs. Good playing area for toung children. Big ramps and ledges for bmx bikes skateboarders and scooter riders. There is a court with 2 basketball hoops and a tennis court.
We were visiting family, lovely park for small and older children, including board ramps.
