A picturesque beach with gentle slopes and a long stretch of sand, surrounded by lush green hills and towering cliffs, offering scenic views, tranquil atmosphere, and a variety of water sports and activities.
Lovely place to explore and relax. Be very mindful of the tide coming in and which the speed it does also. Seen a few families caught out by this whilst I've been here. Beautiful quiet spot
What an amazing place. So quiet. If you like exploring somewhere a little different. You will love this unexpected little gem
Be careful of the tide.here. there are several signs with QR codes to link you to the latest tide information..it's safe to walk in the rocks but the water comes in very quickly across the sand and could leave you stranded. If you're driving you can park on nearby streets and walk to the beach. There are some benches at the top to take a rest or take in the view. There's also a large bin so you can help keep the place tidy.
Limited parking on the road by the beach, there isn't really a beach and very muddy and slippy if you want to walk along the foreshore. We walked to Cove Well along the fields, really good path but fields included livestock. Cove Well was really pretty again no beach but enjoyed seeing the cave.
Miles of walking in the sun when the tides are out. The coastline is very pretty, although be weary of wet sand/mud when the weather is poor. Parking is readily available on the beach, PS2 for 4 hours. Although parking on the roadside for free is also an option, I would be weary of this as it's easy to clog roads for local access
The town very nice with good facilities being coop and pharmacy etc, thr beach maybe good summer time but mid March very quicksand area andvery rocky to the water in the distance, we didn't bother this time of year very slippy. The car parking can only described as awful, very big sharp stones, much a tyre killer and believe PS2 a car to park we stopped prior to the cattle grid, if gets busy neighbours may get a bit peeved, nice village/town narrow roads,
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
