We are a small group of volunteers, dog walkers and local residents who are passionate about improving the appearance and usage of Sirhowy Woodlands. We first got together in 2015 and now meet regularly on the first Sunday of every month 10-12 midday to litter pick. (We would love you to come and join us, bags and litter pickers provided) The woodlands are in much need of plenty of tender loving care! We hope to quietly move forward protecting and nourishing what is already there in the way of wildlife and flora and fauna, it is surprising what has already colonised a comparatively young woodlands, while having a program of management to make up for the neglect of the past few years and get the woodlands in to a better shape.
