Came here whilst on holiday. We booked a shark dive experience for our son as a birthday present. He absolutely loved the experience from start to finish and the instructor was really good with him. Even finding a little shark tooth that he gave to him. We didn't have food there but it did look nice
We booked online beforehand to save some money on tickets for the Skegness Aquarium, we've been to many "SeaLife" centres so it was nice to go to an independent sea side aquarium. My son absolutely loves Dinosaurs so the additional Dinosaur Park was great for him, although as I have a background in Paleontology I was cringing at the Jurassic Park inspired models! My boy doesn't care though, all he knows is they were dinosaurs. The Aquatic life on display was great to see and the variation of saltwater and freshwater fish and creatures was brilliant. The guys in the aquarium really made and effort to make sure my kids were happy and excited too so top, extra marks for that!
This place is amazing. Do not forget to use website [planetoffers] half price tickets for the same thing and will give you a great day out. The soft place is very nice to have a coffee and let the kids go mad.
We had an amazing time diving with the lovely fishes in the aquarium. The staff was incredibly friendly and had a positive attitude. They were also very professional and took great care of us, making us feel extremely safe as we explored the ocean creatures underwater. Breathing through the full mask was so easy, and spending 40 minutes underwater was such a thrilling experience. I highly recommend this and feel that it's worth every penny. Huge thanks to the team - it was a pleasure to be with you!
This was one of our main reasons for visiting Skegness. It's absolutely fascinating to see. Whilst we didn't stay for a long time as it's on the smaller side and was super busy. It was absolutely worth a visit. It's a shame that 13+ aren't included in a family ticket as it is a bit pricey for a short visit. Added extras were a family photo, staff very nice and helpful. We had a bundle offer of 3 printed photos, magnet and keyring of mixed background pictures which makes a lovely memory keepsake. Nice little gift shop at the end too.
What a fantastic little aquarium this is and well worth the money!! I loved the fact all the tanks looked clean and very well kept plus there were plenty of places to sit down as you went round. The dinosaurs outside too were fabulous. My daughter especially loved the soft play in the cafe area and the colouring area where she could colour in a fish and scan it to then see it on the screen. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back again in the future
