This 17th-century English country house is a stunning example of Georgian architecture, boasting a symmetrical facade, ornate stonework, and beautifully manicured gardens.
Lovley wild meadows and tea and cake Beautiful to look round
Open garden day. Lovely wild garden, so nice to see from the usual manicured gardens. The cakes were delicious, thank the volunteers who made them and the untees who served. We were also blessed with the weather. Hope you had a good day for charities that you were supporting
Lovely walled garden. Beautiful soft fruit trees. The day we visited the whole of the gardens were filled with the scent of the wonderful roses which are scattered throughout the property. Although the vegetable garden was very imaginatively laid out it was a little disappointing. Having said that the fruit cages, new and old, are superb! We were blessed with a beautiful warm, sunny day for our visit, one of the very few this June. So we had tea and cake in the sunshine on the lawn, how very quintisentially English it felt Lots of interesting plants and different areas to explore. We enjoyed our afternoon.
Lovely little private garden which holds events from time to time during which you can have a wander around.
I "workthere"nothing to see supposed to be wildflower areas (more wild flowers on grassverges) fans of the Chelsea chop
