This car park offers a convenient and scenic spot to park your vehicle while exploring the beautiful Snapes Point area. With its proximity to the coast, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the sea and surrounding cliffs while taking a short walk to the point itself. The car park is well-maintained and provides ample parking spaces, making it an ideal starting point for a day of outdoor adventure.
Fairly small car park, I decided to go here as it was free being National Trust members. Just over a half hour walk to Salcombe, virtually downhill apart from a couple of hills. So obviously coming back is a little bit harder, but well worth it. Picture is of Salcombe just down the track, just to show how far away it is
This is a beautiful viewpoint, serene and never crowded! The green fields and the gentle terrain makes the walk very picturesque with a few benches to sit and enjoy the sights! The estuary looks amazing from here and so does Salcombe! On a sunny day a bottle of water in hand might be helpful!
Well worth the narrow approach road experience A small car park which is free for National Trust members (PS3 pay by phone charge if not) A 20 minute walk gets you to a fantastic viewpoint of Salcombe and all the boats moored in the estuary.
Beautiful views of all the estuaries. Take a drink as it's very hot but you can walk down to the water
From the small car park we walked the 2 mile circular clockwise route taking in the viewpoint overlooking Salcombe and the estuary. Very pleasant.
Geat place to go for a walk with views to Salcombe Nice easy walking Car park has plenty of space and good for a picnic
