Farm campsite nestled in the heart of Dorset. Close to the beaches at Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Dogs and campfires allowed. Acres of space and unrestricted pitch sizes, choose where you pitch and enjoy the secluded freedom of our site.
Liked: We enjoyed this place immensely, with vast fields that were not overcrowded. You can have a tent in the family or one of the late nighters. To be fair, we stayed in the latter group, but even then it was quite peaceful. The toilets were eco-friendly and solar showers were available, along with electric ones. There was also a small shop where we could purchase meat and milk, as well as a few other items. The location was away from the main road, which made it quite serene. there were numerous stars and marshmallows over the fire which we all loved and we would return next year. Disliked: Coming home
Liked: Gentle, friendly atmosphere, beautiful location, including the driveway in and good basic facilities. Not overbooked, so plenty of space for everyone. Lovely to hear and see the sheep and great insect biodiversity on site. Disliked: Most nights there was some noise after 10pm, better than other campsites though. Swings need more regular upkeep please. Second sheepdog stories was cancelled which was sad for the kids.
Liked: Large open field, with hay bails and swings for the children. Tents pitched around the field, very spacious and enjoyed being able to see the children playing from our tent. Everything worked perfectly and it was all clean. We absolutely loved it. We will definitely book again.
Liked: There is no set pitch's and loads of space so great camping with friends, a nice little shop. All your basic needs without the fuss of a full commercial site. Disliked: No disabled/ accessible bathroom but understand due to only being a part time site.
Fantastic campsite. Nice little farm shop/hut. Very clean toilets and showers. Friendly staff. Tree swings, hay bales and slide for the kids. Not too commercial, built up etc just a few acres nestled in the middle of a sheep farm with all the necessary facilities. We also loved Dave and Roy the sheepdogs. Couldn't ask for more it was a cracking weekend away and we'll certainly be returning!
Liked: Beautiful location, lovely and quiet in the early night field with loads of space to tuck yourself out the way. Great safe area for the kids to play! Immaculate toilets and great little farm shop. We will 100% be coming back. Ideal location for the tank festival Disliked: Nothing!!!
