A picturesque beach with soft, golden sand and calm, clear waters, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. The beach is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and scenic coastal paths, offering breathtaking views of the coastline.
What a wonderful place. A short walk from the car park to a beautiful beach that is dog friendly. The lifeboat station is situated here and each Sunday, they set out to sea to practice skills required for life saving. The staff and volunteers are more than happy to talk about the equipment and their roles. Saving Lives at Sea for 200 years. A beautiful beach to idle away a few hours and a lovely cafe
Great on a weekday evening as I could get right to the beach with the car and park. But normally, the bottom car park would be full with over spill at the top of the road, in this event you'll need a good pair of legs to get to the beach and theres no sea view from the top. For those wanting to see the sea who may not have the best legs to be walking then North Landing has a car park with quite good views out to sea if you can get one of the good parking spaces.
Very quiet spot, lovely white pebble and sand mixed beach, somewhere ya go to chill. Very calm soothing tide.
Not much to do here other than enjoy the windy beach and look for sea wildlife. There is a lifeboat station and shop here. Don't come down on your bikes unless you're prepared to go back up the slope on them - the route to the coastal path from here involves a lot of very steep steps!
Nice rocky beach - not the best for long walks but very beautiful
What a lovely place to visit. You have the lifeguard site, you can look at the lifeguard boat if the doors open, plus there's the lifeguard gift shop. Fantastic beach to spend the day with the family plus are dogs ,nice wide bay to pick your spot.lots of photo opportunities with the fantastic coast around you. Then you have the coastal walks to North bay beach and Dane's dyke beach and forest walks.
