Beautiful beach with amazing sights and was very clean. There's plenty of places nearby as well such as ice cream shops and fish and chips. I would absolutely recommend visiting here when in Portsmouth!

Great pebble beach. When the weathers lovely, get yourself down there. Parking on the road above is PS4.50 for 3 hours which is reasonable. Go to one of the ice cream places and sit in the sun.

What a pleasant day spent on Southsea beach. There is a section fenced off at one end where substantial reinforcement work is taking place. However, that doesn't really detract as the beach is so extensive. It is a mixture of mainly pebble but with sand. There are plenty of little cafes dotted along to make any walk comfortable if you need a break, a drink or cover from the rain. The beach was clean and the water appeared so. Nice for dogs walks too.
