A tranquil oasis in the heart of Southsea, this beautiful rock garden features a stunning array of alpine plants, trees, and flowers, carefully arranged amidst a series of rocky outcrops, water features, and winding paths.
This a great space and the care and attention that must go into the maintenance and upkeep is a credit to all involved. A variety of plants and flowers and various paths make for fun for the kids and a place of relaxation for all. Koi carp to a resident turtle that can often be seen lapping up the sun on a rock at the bottom of the waterfall. Well worth a visit and get some head space
Delightful garden, very well maintained (I see gardeners most weekdays), with a great variety of plants and small trees, ponds and plenty of seating. It's lower than its surroundings so no seaview but it's relatively sheltered from the wind. I love it for soaking up the sun in winter and for its shade in the summer. There is one ramp by the road for wheelchair access.
This was a PCC nature walk. Looking good. A good mix of formal planting and more relaxed plantintarea nearesteasr promenade not so much happening there.l still miss the lights from childhood memories. Maybe time to get some solar on sight
Hidden gem of a garden with landscaped rockeries, plenty of attractive flowers and a cascade. Pleasantly quiet when I visited in the early evening, and only a short walk from the beach. Benches situated around the gardens so you can sit and enjoy the surroundings for a while.
A small but very well maintained rock garden which contains a variety of plants and a pond with fishes. Nice and quiet place to relax in the summer. Well worth a visit.
Favourite place to sit and contemplate. Catch it right, and it's a real suntrap! Roses are amazing and a long-established delight
