The Country park is really nice for a walk. It's not very big so you're not going to be spending all day. I think this place is best for those with children. The park is really, really good. I wish I had such high quality playgrounds when I was younger. When I was younger parks were nowhere near this. Visiting in Summer is especially wonderful. Definitely worth a visit.

The kids love it here. They love the water which is really clean and the playground entertains them for a while too. We can spend hours here all for PS7 parking for the day.. The cafe is pricey but you can take your own picnic. The boat hire is over priced too but not a part of our visits so not a problem
It's a really nice largish park that young kids can scoot around on the pathway (or you can push buggies). See ducks and swans (lots of ducklings when we visited) And a very nice kiddies play area. Lots of parking at reasonable rates and not far to walk to family friendly pubs nearby afterwards.
Lovley country park to walk, run or stroll and be in peace with nature. Cafe is great and has a fab selection of food and drink. Great play park for toddlers and young children based on dinosaurs. I come here everyday I'm off to walk my dogs and run .
