Country park with gravel walking paths, a picnic area, a tea room & a nature centre with animals.
Really lovely park! It has multiple different routes to go depending how long you'd like to walk for. Unfortunately, I did get lost but that was because of my own fault as I strayed from the path and needed to go through private land to get out stick to the map routes and the signage posts and it's a lovely way to get your steps in. Everybody is really lovely also, and I've not come across any aggressive dogs. There is enough parking, but I have only been there when the cafe and farm has closed.
Visiting Southwick Country Park was an absolute delight. The walks were very good and paths well maintained. We had a mixture of both adults and children and all had a great time exploring. We took the opportunity to also do the Adventure Lab that is located here, available via Geocaching website and all found it enjoyable to go a explore and discover. It did rain for part of the walk, but this added to the experience as there was plenty of tree cover. We also visited the adjacent Animal Centre which was also great. Thoroughly enjoyed and would visit again.
One of the places where you can spend all day with the kids. Especially if the weather is nice . Nice little cafe, and all the staff are really friendly. You are not going to be disappointed. Best of luck
Great value , we easily spent 3 hours looking around and stayed for lunch in the cafe , could have stayed longer on a warmer day ,wear wellies , muddy paths when wet . The animal feed we purchased was enjoyed by the animals we were allowed to feed and was great for added interaction.
Great safe open space for off lead walk with the dog or just a stroll. Flat and paved so perfect for disabled with lots of paths throughout. Worth popping in to The Farmhouse Inn turning right out the park about 1 mile up the road...
