This is a cute day out. We booked the cheese and wine afternoon. The cheese was wonderful and so much we had to take it home. It would be nice to have proper knifes to cut the cheese as it is hard with the wooden forks. Wonderful staff and very helpful. They couldn't do more for you. A short train ride and not the best countryside view. But nice to do. We was due to go on the stream train but sadly all 3 were in repair. The train we had was cute but as it's old no Aircon or fans so very hot on the day we went. The train doesn't go fast so not even much of a breeze but pleased we went.

Great family day out. Train stops at some lovely places to go and explore . Can also just do a round trip without disembarking . Drinks and food selection on board is great. We experienced both the diesel and steam engines. Nice museum to explore at the station while you wait

Lovely steam train ride up and diesel back. Stops at high rocks, Groombridge and Eridge. 5 miles in total. Great on a nice sunny day.

Great experience, must see activity if you are visiting Tunbridge Wells. I took a round trip, without hop on off, as only High Rocks deserved a stop. Other stations can be skipped. Costs about 25 pounds for a family of 3. Good views, nice authentic carriages, lots of steam

My partner and myself visited here and was surprised that the journey wasn't very long and the fish and chip meal was a bit disappointing to say the least (chips were soggy and far to many) the fish was delicious. The train was pulled by a diesel engine, again was expecting a steam engine when booked it. Nice to see the other engines being repaired and the shop had a lot of goods to buy, we like fridge magnets, So bought a couple.

Great preserved railway, where it is even possible to visit the workshop. Very friendly atmosphere and nice locomotives and lovely shop. Stroudly Terrier (Sutton) however a bit difficult to see.
