What a beautiful well managed place. This is an area I have visited hundreds of times and recently started as a volunteer. The work they do is excellent with a genuine love for the location. Can't wait to come again and bring my kids along to help out.
Walk the dog regularly here (dogs do need to be on leads near the Ponds). Pretty trails that will take you to Mansfield woodhouse, the fishing lakes or over to Sherwood forest if you go far enough. Does get busy. The trails do get muddy especially near the Ponds.
