Scenic tree-lined park with an expansive field, children's play areas & cycling paths.
I didn't go to the actual Spencer Park, it was the large grassy area next to the tennis courts across the road. However, it a lovely place with conveniences, and a shop selling ice cream and stuff. The sun was out and everyone was rockin to the brass band!
Nice place for kids to play with their peers. If you want your kids to learn tennis, people are there to teach them for free on Saturdays.
We came here with our grandchildren and guide dog puppy. They all had such fun. Great playground for the children to enjoy plus a painted road layout which they loved racing around on their scooters. Nice grassy area for dogs to run around on too. There is also a cafe and public toilets too.
Small but well-kept and serene.
Among other nicely attended community parks this one is also very lovable for me with its tender view, planted memory trees, flower-beds, alleyways. Cosy and peaceful green area of the city which is much worthy for a visit especially in springish, smily weather.
Very quiet and spacious, and you can see the actual train passing by right next to the park highly recommend this park for the dog owners and the kids who want to play basketball!!!
