This 14-acre park is located in the heart of Springfield, featuring a beautiful lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is also home to the Springfield Mill, a restored 18th-century mill that now houses a museum and art gallery. Visitors can explore the mill's historic machinery and learn about the area's industrial past, or attend one of the many cultural events and exhibitions held on site.
Great park to walk around, very picturesque
Fencing surrounding the children's playground has been broken for a long time meaning dogs can freely wander inside.... but the new benches are much appreciated. Many wooden Fencing planks are now rotting and may need replacing eventually. Some of the overgrown vegetation has been removed around the little pond which is
Tiny! But nice variety of mini spaces - bit of woods, little playground, little football area, little pond, few areas where dogs can be off lead but surrounded by roads so not the safest. Difficult to find, parking is just on the surrounding residential streets. Kids enjoyed the swings and slides.
Nice park with small forest
The children's playground needs painting, and fence and seats replaced. Having said that when I visit my granddaughter she likes to come here as she is interested in pond life and she used to enjoy the short wood walk when she was tiny.
Pretty awful unfortunately, the playground is littered with condoms, the fencing has fallen down and the play equipment itself is covered in graffiti, chewing gum and grime. The woodland area seems neglected. Huge potential but presumably the cash and manpower isn't available to unlock it.
