This charming green space is nestled among historic tombstones and offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The gardens feature a variety of plants and flowers, including a sensory garden, a community garden, and a wildflower meadow. Visitors can stroll along the winding paths, sit on benches, and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The gardens are also home to a number of community events and activities throughout the year, making it a vibrant hub of local life.
Super friendly church with a huge heart to serve it's local community. Lots of young people and families and also extremely welcoming to older folks too. I loved how multicultural this church is. When I was with them they had an amazing carribean cook out. Visit whenever you can.
Went to this churchplace for a concert, as it is used as a venue as well. Seems to have enough place for aprox. 2000 guests. Thrre is a gakery as well, where there are seated places. Maybe for some events there are seated places on groundfloor as well, but this concert was standing. Immediately after opening, there formed a very long queue for the toilets. The queue stayed there. So i assume there are very few toilets. You can buy beverages inside the church. A key feature if the room is a very large organ. Acoustics were fine. Next to the church you will find a supermarket, busstations. (The venue is about 30 mins from the tube by bus). It was a Gary Numan acoustic concert.
It's a beautiful place to walk by or have a picnic, spent time in the garden or attend an event. I go here very often when I'm in London and free on the weekend but also during the week. I'm really looking forward to LCMF here in Dec. Sunday evening services are a favourite. Definitely worth checking out for a little wander if your curious!
Fabulous venue. Pictures are.of the Gary Numan's accoustic tour. Will be back. Very efficient and quick bag store. Friendly staff. Actually ended up helping somebody who collapsed during "Jo the Waiter". Very capable medical backup on site. 10/10 rather than 5/5.
Had a wonderful time at the 6pm service. People were very welcoming and friendly. There is wheel chair entrance and toilet facilities. The place has recently been refurbished and looks great. A cafe is available. Everyone is welcome.
Nice big church with a good sound system so everyone can hear. It also has good, clean toilets which are accessible for those needing them. Staff are good and the grounds are well kept.
