A nature reserve and seabird colony on a dramatic cliff-top known for dolphin and grey seals sightings.
By all means, it's a beautiful place. The cliff drop is very dramatic, making you stare at it in awe. The walk itself is very pleasant, with not many strep hills to climb. Lots of spots worth taking a photo of.
Vast stretches of amazing views of the sea. We were blessed with a great sunny day. There is National trust parking if you are national trust member, as its a National trust site. Beautifully maintained. For National trust members, they have free parking, free toilets, a small cafe. If you are parking in the National Trust lot, then after parking you need to follow the signs and walk for about 10 mins and you will start to have the views already. Start climbing the mountain and go as high as you want to go. The climb is not too hard. You can even go down the mountain to the nearby loch and the sea. The climb back up maybe bit tiring that the earlier climb up. You can even chose to go down to the docks, where there's another paid parking and cafes, restaurants. Note : it had been raining for a couple of days before we went, so the pathways were muddy and slippery. You need to have good shoes for the climb anyways but if going after the rain, be extra careful please Has breathtaking views all around.
Beautiful! Just beautiful! Several easy to follow walks. Park in the NT car park. Free for NT members and PS4 per day if not. If it's full there was a privately owned carpark seconds further down the main road ( think this was PS3 per day). Toilets and a good cafe just below the NT carpark (and just above the private CP) . Wear boots it can be slippy and muddy in places. Keep to the paths - and take your camera! Stunning views on the walk and it's worth a wander down to the village afterwards. There are several cafe/ restaurants and a lovely little harbour. All in all a lovely day out.
Slightly traumatised, the path says 'fully accessible' at the start and at about 400m the path is half a metre wide at the top of a very high cliff. I haven't got a head for heights so it was no fun. At all. Parking has about 30 spaces so was almost full at midday.
Nice place to visit with excellent views along the coast both North and South. Easy parking and a short walk towards the cliff paths.
Most beautiful place I have ever seen. Highly recommend to visit. Sometimes could be difficult to find a space for parking car, because this place is very popular.
