Great family experience for us. Lots of great exhibits. Wasn't too crowded, able to walk through without issue. Loved the meerkats which was unexpected at an aquarium but an added bonus. We did expect to see the sharks being fed at 12 but this didn't happen and reason explained by a staff member who then went on to give a really interesting talk about the different kinds of sharks in the tank. Nice wee girt shop too.
What a great place! Spent couple hours here and worth every penny. Lots to see and a variety of animals etc. All the staff talks were very informative. Recommended!!
Such a great day out at the St.Andrew's aquarium with my partner a couple of weeks ago, located literally right off the famous beach and only a couple of mins walk from St. Andrew's main town. In the aquarium there are lots of different species of animal, from the jungle , to Amazon rain forest and the deep blue sea. There is also a gift shop and a place to get a bite to eat. Well worth the money for a nice day out with a loved one or family. Would well recommend
Really interesting, knowledgeable staff, variety of wildlife but more expensive than I would have anticipated. I get that looking after such a variety of animals well is costly, but expensive entry fees will discourage visitors. We spent an hour on the beach afterwards. It was free and the kids had loads of fun.
A wonderful diversion to our week, we had seen this aquarium being advertised and thought "why not". The Meerkat talk was informative and was a decent length to not make it boring. Its a shame the shark feeding had been cancelled but there was a good reason so am not too disappointed. It's the first live jelly fish I've seen so that was amazing!
Highly recommend the family absolutely loved it. Was a really good experience and the staff are A1.. 100% worth the money as you can come in and out as many times true out the day. You see that feeding of the animals and the staff give you an insight about all the animals while they feed them.
