This stunning 19th-century church boasts an impressive Gothic Revival architecture with a striking tower and spire, rising high above the surrounding landscape. The exterior's rugged stone façade gives way to a tranquil interior, adorned with intricate stone carvings, stunning stained-glass windows, and a beautifully painted ceiling. The church's peaceful atmosphere is further enhanced by its picturesque setting, nestled among ancient trees and rolling hills.
A very pleasant church. There was also a well maintained organ and an excellent organist when we visited for midnight mass.
Standing in the Church with Renya was like going back in time. I was christened there and was also in the choir. I remember the Christmas Carol Service, I sung in descant during it, before we walked up the Yew tree avenue with lanterns and them once around the Church. I have some wonderful memories of the Church and Westbourne, wher I was brought up.
Such a beautiful church. Lovely organ, newer than structure so a little out of setting. Vicar is very nice and welcoming.
Not being religious it is not my place to give meaningful ratings. However, it's a peaceful, country church in a charming village. Maybe Saxon in places, interesting architecture, plaques and windows.
What a beautiful place. Lovely congregation and so welcoming. Thank you for a great christening!
Enjoyed working here as a Pro wedding photographer covering the wedding of Renya and John.
