This 12th-century chapel is nestled within the walls of St Michael's Mount, a tidal island off the coast of Cornwall, England. The chapel's granite exterior gives way to a tranquil, whitewashed interior adorned with stunning stained-glass windows and a beautifully preserved medieval atmosphere.
Nice place to visit just for the view. I visited the chaple before any vandalism had been done and it was a surprisingly well built very old place of worship.
13th/14th century Chapel on a top of the hill. Couple of paths leading to it, some very steep, some much easier for older or parents with small children. Nice views from the top. Definitely worth to see
What a stunning place. Locked up so can't go in though as kids have wrecked the place.
Great view after a great walk though information panel is in awful condition and there's litter and vandalism everywhere. Overall nice place for serenity and contemplation despite the almost all of the nearby benches being broken and unusable. On the whole I wish a bit more effort was put into this place as it seems rather neglected.
This is an awesome place which not many people know about so you can go here if you want some alone time as everything there is very quiet. It also has a board where you can read about the Chapel itself and the Victorian observatory which isn't used any more. It is at the top of a hill so you will need to walk a little bit to get to the top of the hill which is also a cliff.
Very peaceful and serene.
