Wildlife-rich riverside woodland area with a 60-foot waterfall, plus hermitage and meditation room.
I didn't realize I can find such a beautiful waterfall in the UK. It reminds me the waterfalls in Bali! We enjoyed the way to get there also, there is a river running all the way and the fresh air, beautiful nature!Amazing! The only thing you have to pay to get close to the waterfall, PS 8 per adult, but it really worth it!
This is a lovely trip out. It is a good walk if you go all the way from the car park and is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams etc. Could be easily quite mucky as well. But actually it is great with a nice coffee shop centre thing stationed close to the fall itself.
It's a beautiful area to explore. Nice walk down the valley then a little steep up to the waterfall entrance building. Nice cafe and shop with a beautiful picnic area with plenty of seating with shade. Nice play area for kids. Peacocks roam around. The waterfall is beautiful as well. Not that expensive to enter. A little tip, take the alternate exit as it's not going to be as steep as the footpath that you took through the valley.
A really great place. It is quite a walk from the car park and muddy so would recommend appropriate footwear. There is a cafe but perfect for a picnic if you want to carry it in. Definitely worth a visit. There is a parking charge and PS9 to visit the waterfall but it does take care of the upkeep of the area.
Lovely serene place, woodland walk from the car park made the visit seem a bit more mysterious. Walking along the small brook and seeing the 'coin logs' whilst to the sound of the water. Then seeing the.water fall it's a very quiet and peaceful area. The cafe is good, very sizable portions amazing quiche and ploughman's. Then a slightly easier walk back to the car park to avoid the steps. Advice - wear walking boots as trainers are not cut out for the woodland walk.
Breathtaking, that's one word I would describe this place. My boyfriend and I loved the walk to the waterfall and being able to get so close to it. The staff were so lovely and the gift shop is the cutest place, good prices. A nice little cafe at the top too to get a drink and food after a long walk. Car park is PS3 for the whole day which is good pricing, they take cash or card. Go early as it gets busy quick. Good signage.
