A 125-acre green oasis in the heart of Bristol, featuring walking trails, a large lake, and plenty of wildlife, including birds, fish, and insects, with a variety of flora and fauna, as well as a café, play areas, and sports facilities.
Popular and peaceful . Not ruined by the local oiks so safe for littluns to play. Decent selection of safe equipment.
Be careful of broken glass in the children's play area
Love walking through here with my dog on the way to tne beach or wherever else I'm going.
I regularly take my granddaughter to the play area. Such a shame that people think it's okay to leave litter in the area. I've been told that older kids/teens hang out there later in the day. No problem with that. I used to hang out in a rec myself at that age but PLEASE put your rubbish in the bins or take it away with you. Don't leave it for curious toddlers to pick up & put in their mouths!
Great huge open rugby fields, perfect for flying a kite or walking the dog. With a perimeter path all the way around for jogging. However 3 stars is for the play park which could really do with some updating.
Lovely trees but nowhere near enough. Nice little fenced play park for young children. Unfortunately the dog waste bins aren't emptied often enough so they are often overflowing.
