Lovely park with lots of space, love the hills to keep fit, lake with pedal boats and a small paddling area, improved mini playground in the kiddies little waterpark near the jungle gym and a bit of play in-between them. Toilets and changing rooms smelled horrible every visit, no soap but not too scruffy. Ice cream bar service a bit slow and not as badly priced as most vans are recently. Car park is vast but very expensive, though it must help pay for maintenance and growth of the place, those lines of bins in-between carpark and park are always horribly stinky, wish park management would improve cleanliness/smells more often, a simple wash 1x/2x daily.
Entrance is a bit of a confusion. Enter on the Northside for the walks and splash park. Very good size splash park for free. Can hire out pedal boats too. Toilets and cafes around. Good day out for the kids.
We had an amazing Sunday at Stanborough Park with my son, wife, and family friends. The park offers a fantastic range of activities for kids and families, from a great river where the kids loved playing to the fun pedal boats and splash games. There were also plenty of opportunities for football and other outdoor activities, making it the perfect spot for a family day out. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy some quality time in a beautiful setting!
Always love this park. Wonderful sunset views. If you like the hot weather it is an ideal place to go in summer months.
Beautiful lake area with a splash park, cafe, picnic tables (not many), toilets and rowing boats / pedalos. There's a water sports area with another cafe on the other side of the road. The carpark is expensive, unfortunately.
Nice Park with kids facilities. Kids love the water splash area, but it is clowded even thought we were there on weekday. All good, but the changing room is smelly and need parking fees.
