This 18th-century landscaped park features a large lake, walking trails, and a variety of wildlife, including deer, birds, and fish. The park is also home to a walled garden, a sensory garden, and a children's play area. Visitors can explore the park's many features, including a Gothic-style mansion, a Norman-style church, and several monuments and sculptures. The park offers scenic views, picnic areas, and opportunities for boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
Love this park. Nice size and plenty of space, grasses areas, lovely little lake and plenty of woodlands and walkways. Plenty of birds so bring your binoculars or camera and Bird food for the lake. They have a cafe and information centre and benches available in places to sit and enjoy. Paid car park available and walkway available to walk through the to a herb and greens outdoor shop and to Staunton Farm. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place
Beautiful. One of my most favourite places to visit. Lovely walks with lots of wildlife. Lovely little cafe. A little expensive but you can take your own food and have a picnic. Very clean toilets. Large carpark.
Beautiful park to spend time with family, relax and unwind. So much nature and beautiful plants to see.
There's so much to do here that it isn't entirely possible to spend the whole day exploring. On one side you have the paid area where you will find the farm, gardens and cafe. These are all brilliant, especially the gardens, which are stunning and well maintained! The farm is fun, and kids will love feeding the animals. We had a lovely lunch at the cafe which had lots of food options. On the other side you will find a lovely park which has stunning views and some estate walks. The walks are worth doing, but the signposting isn't always great. Parking isn't cheap, but just remember you are paying for the maintenance of the park.
Well kept, clean and tidy and pleasant atmosphere. Great for taking the dog out on a swift walk
Country Park was lovely to wander around. We didn't pay PS5 (2 hours) to park, though. We walked the very pleasant footpath from Havent Forest and stopped off at the Country Park en route. (Free to park there). Very disappointed with the stable cafe coffee. Flat white tasted free of coffee altogether and was VERY expensive.
