A stunning 18th-century Palladian mansion nestled in 2,500 acres of picturesque parkland, featuring exquisite interiors, impressive art collections, and beautifully landscaped gardens, including a tranquil lake, woodland walks, and a variety of plant species.
What a beautiful place to rest and relax - We absolutely loved it here. |The land around the wagon is so restful to the eye and such a private space. |Great hosts who were extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. It was lovely to bump into them around the estate. Talking of estates, this is a joyous place where you can totally immerse yourselves amongst nature. The wagon was cosy with a comfy bed and plenty of shelving and nooks to store stuff. Loved the camping stove and kettle and the well-stocked kitchen dresser draws and shelves. The bed was comfy and linen crisp and clean. The decking area had amazing views and was perfect for evening drinks. The outside kitchen and shower work perfectly with plenty of hot water and the loo with a view is so peaceful with stunning views. We had the lovely surprise of the newly installed hot tub that was brilliant and after lighting the log burner at the back we had some therapeutic soaks both early morning watching the sun burn through the mist and also late at night watching the bats dash about. All in all a magical time in such a stunning place and we will be coming back so thank you very much to all of the Langmead family and the friendly estate team for their welcoming and friendly approach.
Beautiful yurts in a wonderful setting! We went with another family, we were 4 adults and 6 kids and 3 dogs. The space outside is perfect for setting up badminton, frisbee or football. We played loads of card games and had a fantastic BBQ. Heating your own bath water just adds to the fun as well as the walk to the toilet in the woods. Beautiful walks through the woods for the dogs. Fab time at ringstead beach too, everyone had a fantastic time.
Such a beautiful place to be, this was our 4th visit to the Sawpits - a delightful off grid shepherds hut, fantastic views with the additional surprise of the wood fired hot tub. A place to reset & recharge. We couldn't think of a better place to truly switch off & connect with nature.
We stayed at Parsons Camp. It's was so beautiful yet quirky! It was well equipped for cooking. The showers were very warm. The compost loo was the cleanest compost loo that I have ever used. Surrounded by nature. A wonderful place to relax whilst hearing the birds and watching the resident deer
3 families stayed at Brickles Yurts and had the most amazing stay! Everything has been carefully thought through and sympathetically executed in this beautiful camp. The location is wonderfully remote (yet still able to walk to a pub, The Green Man). We were even lucky enough to have a tour of Stock House, which was fantastic! Highly recommend.
Every year this is one of our favourite weekends of the year and we haven't found anywhere more special. This year was 10 years since we first stayed and it is our best family tradition! What incredible childhood (and adult) memories. ||It's almost totally off grid and the joy is that you are the only people on site. It's very Famous 5 for the kids. Each year they build 'Camp Fern' in the woods and they are happy doing what kids do best - being grubby, playing outside and building their own world.||Absolute magic!
