Stoke Wood Alpacas is a unique attraction in the United Kingdom where visitors can get up close and personal with these soft and furry creatures. The farm is home to over 100 alpacas, offering a chance to learn about their habits, habitat, and characteristics. Visitors can take a guided tour, feed and pet the alpacas, and even take one for a walk. The attraction also features a farm shop selling alpaca-related products, a café serving refreshments, and scenic views of the surrounding countryside.
My boyfriend and I decided to do something different to get away from the usual daily routine...something that would make us feel in touch with nature and animals. We decided to book a 'walk' at this establishment and be we were satisfied excellent welcome, kindness and friendliness. walk with alpacas and interesting facts about alpacas. *only note I would like to make, desserts and drinks fresh and of excellent quality, we would just like to see a price list for each drink and food consumed. Really recommended grazie
Booked this up a few weeks in advance with the owners and it was such a good experience. We walked three alpacas called Billy, bumble and Reggie but Billy was the leader Sally and Steve are very welcoming and answered all my weird and wonderful questions about the alpacas, and the history lesson at the start was really insightful. The tea and cakes at the end catered for allergies which was great, and it was nice to chat about how the farm got started. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to do something a bit out of the norm, and would definitely do it again.
We had a lovely couple of hours with Steve & Sally on their Alpaca Farm. We arrived to a baby Alpaca being born, which was quite a difficult birth, but mum seemed to handle it. Steve delivered it and then came and delivered an amazing insight into how the world developed and Alpacas came to live within it. We fed the Alpacas and then walked them and found out a bit about them. What lovely animals, very very cute. Sally & Steve have made a great home for the Alpacas and obviously love doing it. The cakes at the end were gorgeous and there is a little shop of toys, socks etc. Very reasonable entry fee, but book in advance. We saw the baby Alpaca take it's first steps before we left. We loved it! Thank you.
We were made very welcome by the farmer his wife and family. Learned the history of the Camel family, and the Alpaca. A. lovely walk round the fields, feeding the animals. Lovely tea and home made cakes to round off a lovely afternoon.
We had such a lovely afternoon feeding and walking with the alpacas. Steve and Sally were wonderful throughout. A fantastic experience!
Walking the alpacas was a lovely experience, they are so gentle and friendly & all the staff made you feel very welcome. We had tea & cake afterwards which was all in with the cost, which is very reasonable. We really enjoyed our visit to Stoke Wood Alpacas & will definitely be visiting again
