Stone Bay is a beautiful, quieter location, best known for rock-pooling and popular with families. The promenade leads on to the town of Broadstairs, and the main beach at Viking Bay.
Lovely little hidden beach. Sandy beach just a short walk from Broadstairs main highstreet. Has plenty of space, Quirky fronted beach huts line the route. Has a cool little beach bar too.
Absolutely loved it. Stone bay beach is just short walk from Viking bay. But it's just a beautiful and quiet beach. I enjoyed it a lot. The only problem was seaweed! Too much of it in certain areas. But the marked swimming areas were good with not much seaweed. Overall enjoyed spending the morning and early afternoon there. We did have to walk to Viking bay to find food. Tip: if you get there nice and early on a weekend, there is free parking on the Eastern Esplanade.
Stone Bay a beautifully modest sandy beach, surrounded by white cliffs, accessible by stairs on one side, and a slooe the other. It's never packed out so is quieter than the other beaches that get swarmed by the hustle and bustle of tourists. There is ablong stretch of road stop the cliffs where parking is free. There are some beach huts for renting. It's clean and friendly here. We love visiting this beach during all weathers
Great walk with the sound of the waves kissing the sand. Lovely pebbles and lots of Mermaids purses.
It's a beach! So you know has beach stuff like sand and water!! Very quiet with ample parking for free!!
Best part of our weekend away walking along an almost empty sandy beach with a lovely breeze to cool us down
On-site services
