We were so looking forward to taking our pup for a good run around. We were expecting a fair bit of mud due to the recent weather but the field was a complete bog. Absolutely no drainage. Really hard going in wellies & very difficult for our pup to play in. Really shouldn't be let in this condition. A previous user hadn't cleaned up dog poo so I did it for them. Vending machine was broken. No cups to use in any case, just mess left. Really think someone should be checking the place over. Hugely disappointing.
We love Stretton Dog Park, and so does Merlin the border collie who needs to run off some steam. We go late evening and it's so brilliant having a secure park with lighting that you can use at night! Booking online is so easy. A huge thank you from Heather, Jack and Merlin
This dog park is an absolute godsend! I have 3 large breed dogs, one who has zero recall, and two who are fear reactive to other dogs and strangers. They go to the park every day to blow off some steam while I sit and have a brew and charge my phone up in the shelter, it's great! I have been using the park for a year now, the owners, Paul & Carla are absolutely lovely, they're so approachable and always happy to help or just have a chat. They recently had to change the timings of bookings but were totally up front about it and happy to explain when I queried it. I wouldn't use anywhere else! So a massive paws up and thank you from Thor, Luna & Wolfie!
Me and the girls have just stayed here at the weekend. I cannot fault this place. The house was simply beautiful, and the hosts were more than helpful before and during the trip. The hot tub was a glamorous extra that we took full advantage of, although we'd of had a brilliant time without it as the building and garden itself was perfection. The camping and dog park looked brilliant too. We haven't stopped talking about our night away since, thank you for your amazing hosting, it didn't go unnoticed . We will be back soon I am sure
Visited a few secure dog parks and this is our favourite ! We now visit regularly . Nice size to exercise our 4 dogs , very secure with locked gate and secure fencing , the amenities make a great touch . Love that there is shelter and tea/ coffee making facilities . There's chairs and a bench to sit at which makes it a relaxing and stress free experience knowing the dogs are safe. Love the fact it's eco friendly Has lots of balls / frisbees for the dogs to play with The environment is clean and it's easily bookable online. The owners are friendly and welcoming . Would highly recommend .
We used to come here often, it was great!! The dogs loved it, and the shelter for the humans is great!! But I think they're getting too greedy for money. cutting the times down by 5 mins but still charging the same. Also - still states when you 1st click "30 mins" it's only when you get a bit further it is only 25 mins!! PS6 for 25 mins is expensive, release the dogs in Eccles is PS8 for 50 mins, and the area is bigger and less muddy!! Don't get greedy! It isn't a good look!!
