A tranquil campsite nestled in the heart of rural Shropshire, surrounded by rolling hills and picturesque countryside, offering pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes, as well as glamping options, with modern amenities, including showers, toilets, and laundry facilities, and a range of outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling, and fishing, available in the nearby vicinity.
Liked: What an absolute gem of a site! Just 10 pitches, adults only and so very quiet - bliss. Excellent bathroom and an extra toilet, lovely enclosed dish washing area and with a microwave to use for free! There's a massive enclosed field where you can let your dog off too. Jane is lovely, very welcoming and will answer your questions about the site/area. I would definitely return and highly recommend.
Liked: The views are amazing Friendly staff, gave us a warm welcome. Facilities were basic but clean Nice large field to walk my dogs they loved it. I loved the welcome email we received the day before, full of great information. We will return. Booking through pitch up made everything easy. Disliked: Just the lane up to the site, quite a few potholes.
Liked: Friendly welcome. Beautiful, small, quiet, peaceful site. Facilities are basic, as one would expect, but very well maintained & clean. It had everything we needed. The views across the Devon countryside is outstanding. A huge field for dog exercise is available. And it is adults only- a big bonus for us! No Wi-Fi but excellent 4G signal throughout our stay. Disliked: Nothing, this is an outstanding small site. The narrow roads may cause some drivers apprehension. We met a tractor on a single lane, but managed, so I am sure you would too!
Liked: Everything, a gem of a find. Beautiful small site with stunning views across to Dartmoor. Only 10 pitches in all, over 2 fields. Facilities small but beautifully maintained and warm!. (So many sites with freezing facilities) Village with shop, pub and chip shop about mile and a half away. Level, generous pitches, with unimpeded views. Adult only (always our choice during kids holidays) Truly great value for money, electric included, we have paid a lot more for less, we dont return if poor. Picnic bench on pitch...We loved it and will definitely be back. Well done owners....perfect. Disliked: Nothing to dislike
Liked: A really lovely, remote and peaceful site, very clean and well maintained, with lots of welcoming touches. We liked the quaint shower room, and had access to an excellent large field in which to exercise our border collie. The village shop and pub only a few miles away are absolutely wonderful, (the pub meals are quite expensive but fantastic 5 star food! ) If this unusual site appeals to you - then I would highly recommend it. Disliked: A good Wifi would have been useful but not essential and maybe a second shower room would be a help.
Liked: Beautiful tranquil site with stunning views . Clean shower and toilet area which was also heated . Really enjoyed our stay here. Village shop great with everything you could possibly need. Welcomed by owner Jane , very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when in North Devon. Disliked: Absolutely nothing
